StanJr #1 Posted October 23, 2001 Here ye, Here ye. I issue to you, the people a great challenge: So you think you have Pitfall II mastered, eh? You've got your screen shot with your perfect score and everything, right? Well here's an old school challenge from my childhood days to see how good you really are. (this is what we used to do after getting the perfect score) Can you get a perfect score on Pitfall II all three ways? Here are the objectives: 1. Get a perfect score on Pitfall II capturing Quickclaw the Cat LAST. 2. Get a perfect score on Pitfall II capturing Rhonda LAST. 3. Get a perfect score on Pitfall II capturing the Raj Diamond LAST. Post all three screenshots here to win. You can use an emulator or the real deal, it makes no difference, baby! What do you win? Crap, I don't know. I'll think of something. Who among you is brave enough to answer the call? Throwin' down the Gauntlet, Stan
StanJr #2 Posted October 23, 2001 I was wondering about what you'd say, Ben. I remember your challenge, and it is indeed very hard. Basically you want somebody to go through the thing at least 3 times without a scratch! EEP. But can anyone prove that they did it that way? Besides, I just said this was the "Great" Pitfall II challenge, not the "Ultimate." I leave that title to your challenge for sure. I think both challenges are pretty...well... challenging. I've done it my way before too a long time ago. Now I will try again. I just love finding more ways to play Pitfall II. If you are up to it, Ben, how about once again for old times sake, and this time post your screen shots? Always a gamer, Stan
Genki #3 Posted October 23, 2001 While we're on the Pitfall challenge, has anyone ever earned a perfect score on the second quest of 5200 Pitfall?
mvigor #4 Posted October 24, 2001 I had no idea it could be done that way. I just always grabbed the diamond and the neice when I first saw them. I learn something new here every day. -Matt
