Actually, it's worth $458.38 if you take into consideration the cost of bulk floppies (I used an average of .26 cents). :P

it seems like all of those are pirate discs, which makes the whole auction illegal, too... (apart from being insanely overpriced,)

I have ALL the F#%@$NG disks images on one CDR and it only cost me .99 cents and if I was them on real floppys I can just get me freind to upload them too real floppys disks and he has 100s of package of them for FREE!! I don't know who's crasyer the seller who thinks he can sell them for $9000, or the crasy buyer who will bid on them?!?! And I don't care if there are the real deal its still not worth $7000 starting bid!!

It's possible, maybe, that the seller when setting the Buy-it-now price, used a , instead of a . (I once did this in error when placing a bid, and had to do my only ever bid retraction) altough the seller would then have had to review the auction page before submitting, so it's maybe not so likely an explanation. :ponder:
