Genki #8 Posted October 28, 2001 Does that printer work at all? if you get one cheap or even free, something's prbably wrong with it. I got an HP Laserjet 4 for free (with 22MB RAM and nearly new toner cart to boot) and the only problem I foudn was 2 sets of rollers were bad, eating paper. Fortunately a new sets can be bought for about $15. If you do find something wrong and you are handy with a screwdriver and are not afraid of the radiation from lasers, www.printerworks.com would have a good source of replacement parts for darned near every Canon and HP based printers. (Mine was based on Canon EX engine)
Lemmi #9 Posted October 28, 2001 mine was a printer from like 1996 so it was already a bit outdated and had been used alot and probably dropped a few times, but i did get some nice screws out of it tho
Ze_ro #10 Posted October 28, 2001 I have to say, I'm disappointed. I was hoping this thread would be a topic about some cool Atari game that was found... Don't get me wrong, a $5 printer is good and all... but Atari would be better. --Zero
StanJr #11 Posted October 28, 2001 Hey, he did find that 2600 shell! That's gotta count for something. You also found $40 just sitting in the printer? 70's, either you're blessed or you are making this stuff up.
