Blinky #1 Posted September 17, 2004 Having a VCS JR with a faint power LED I decided to replace it with a cool blue one. However the blue one was so bright that I had to stick a piece of milky white plastic (from a beer cap ) under the power LED window. Before After and the result

Blinky #3 Posted September 17, 2004 Definately cool!! Next time try a blinking LED to match your name. What the heck is that spaghetti cart you got goin' there? It's my Multi cart design on an experimental board. Using just two descrete chips it can handle 2K/4K and patched F8,F6,F4 roms.
Radio F Software #4 Posted September 17, 2004 That's cool with the LED switch. At this robot event I go to every 3 months there is a team who uses these LEDs that change color. Very cool.

Blinky #6 Posted September 17, 2004 That's cool with the LED switch. At this robot event I go to every 3 months there is a team who uses these LEDs that change color. Very cool. Self flashing RGB LEDs. Have a look at http://ledmuseum.home.att.net/ledrgb.htm This gives me another idea: Instead of using a flasher you use a 4 pin RGB LED with common anode. hook anode to 5V and the other pins to 0V, dificulty switch A and difficulty switch B using resistors. Then you can see that the power is on and in which positions the difficulty switches are I really must get one to try this out ! (have another JR with a poor LED)

That is awesome! How, where, and howmuch? I dont know how they change color, nor do I know how much, but I have seen them at Radio Shack before .
