Agent X #2 Posted September 18, 2004 I don't know about the disc art, but here's the box art: From Atari, of course!
AtariAger #3 Posted September 18, 2004 I don't know about the disc art, but here's the box art: From Atari, of course! Thanks man...I just purchased two copies...but I don't want to open them up! I was hoping someone had already and could post a pic.
sega saturn x #4 Posted September 19, 2004 Is the game the same as befor? Or does it just have new box art?
Raijin Z #5 Posted September 19, 2004 DBZ games are proof that name alone can sell a shitty product. Well, okay, the old DBZ RPGs for Genesis and NES were okay, but Infogrames is almost literally shitting DBZ games out. When's the last time you've heard anybody say something to the effect of "I don't particularly like DBZ, but *game* is really good!"? Beh, I'd rather play Doomsday Warrior or Combatribes. liquid_sky #6 Posted September 19, 2004 DBZ games are only marginally more playable than Tao Feng on xbox. I agree with Raijin Z, its nothing but a marketing fervor.
video game addict #7 Posted September 20, 2004 But it's got Goku in it so it must be badass! He's a lev 9 Supersemen!
Raijin Z #8 Posted September 20, 2004 Don't take this into DBZ SUX territory. If the games being released didn't feature DBZ characters, they'd fail MISERABLY because they're all sub-subpar fighters.
video game addict #9 Posted September 21, 2004 Don't take this into DBZ SUX territory. If the games being released didn't feature DBZ characters, they'd fail MISERABLY because they're all sub-subpar fighters. Alot of games are like that though, they rely on a name to help sell, some even get good marks for extras like the Matrix, yet the game play & camera angles are all crap. Fighters are much more defined, and a sucky fighter easily stands out. I've never played any of the DBZ fighters personally & don't plan on purchasing this reissue. Now a REZ reissue which is rummored would be a good thing! I think the ONLY reason Final Bout is being resold is because they are hoping to sell on the name. Makes you wonder why so few sold the first time around, DBZ was more popular then I thought, GT is a little more recent to the US cartoon network, maybe they thought it would sell now? I don't think DBZ vs DBGT makes any difference to fans when it comes to spending money on related games. But the new selling point is cheap enough that I think even some naysayers may drop the cash just to see what all the fuss is about.
sega saturn x #10 Posted September 22, 2004 In the past all dbz games sucked but the new ones have been fairly good. Not virtua fighter but still far more playable then older instalments. Even the legacy of goku was decent.
