StanJr #8 Posted October 27, 2001 Atari-Jess used the ANGRY STAN face! Does that mean I get royalties? Have you seen any of these adult games? They totally pervert everything that is good and holy about the 2600. This is just wrong, people. Just wrong. Shudder, shudder... Stan

bcprs1 #11 Posted October 27, 2001 I often wonder why there isn't "Adult" games for PS2 and Nintendo. Somewhere out there has to be some perverts who would like this sort of thing. They could ever have there own special controllers...... ahhhh I'm thinking too much about this.

Friend of Sonic #15 Posted October 27, 2001 ell, there's never been an A (ESSRB's highest and maturest rating) released... or at least in the states. Then again the ESSRB has only been around since the late 90s... and Nintendo is way too wholesome to release any kind of adult game or mature game... Perfect Dark and Conker's Bad Day (Or named something like that) was the closest.
StanJr #16 Posted October 28, 2001 Methinks Atari Jess doth protest a bit too much, eh? I think its refreshing that there isn't a bounty of XXX video games. I mean, we're oversexed as a society as it is. I'd like to think there are some safe havens from perversion. Its not that I don't get the joke, its just that the joke gets old quick and then becomes inappropriate and embarassing. Like making out in front of your grandmother (or worse, WITH your grandmother) (Sorry, that one was just out there waiting. Its wrong, I know. I apologize right now.) By the way NE146, I didn't know exactly what your avatar was for the longest time, but when I found out Stan rated "R"

Beg to differ, but there's Mai Shiranui in the Fatal Fury/King of Fighters series from SNK. That's the birth of the "bounce" in video games. And we're really getting into geekboy territory here, btw. Atari-Jess #18 Posted October 28, 2001 hmm i am adding too much to this conversation... in fact this doesn't help at all does it? either way i agree mostly with stan and say that it is a good idea that there is not a lot of 3x video games.

Ze_ro #24 Posted October 28, 2001 quote: Originally posted by Secret Quest: I often wonder why there isn't "Adult" games for PS2 and Nintendo. I think there are, but we just don't know it. I do know that there are a couple of games from a company called "Panesia" or something to that effect, that I think qualify as "adult". I haven't seen any of the gameplay, but the cartridge labels sure made it look that way. I'll have to see if I can find these to post pics (Don't worry, I'm not going to post porno or anything). As for the Atari adult games, I just think it's funny. I mean, who would actually buy these for the purpose they're intended for? Even on a PS2 where you could make something a LOT more realistic, it still wouldn't go over well enough. Why would you get this instead of a porno movie? Oh well... some of the games aren't terrible. Knight on the Town was mildly interesting (Though the jumping is a little screwed up), and X-Man wasn't so bad. If they took out the porno sequences and put a bit more gameplay in, it would have had a chance at popularity. Custer's Revenge is another story entirely... I can't believe this thing got onto the market! It's even more surprising when you consider that society in general has become (slightly) more accepting of these things, and we still wouldn't even think of trying something like this. It's stuff like this that gives character to the whole 2600 experience I think --Zero
Ze_ro #25 Posted October 28, 2001 Ah, here we go. The company is actually called "Panesian", and one of the games they released is called "Bubble Bath Babes". I was pretty sure there was another one two, but this is the only one I've found in my 3 seconds of searching. I still have no idea what the gameplay is like. --Zero
