Does the computer in video chess cheat? has this happened to anyone???

It seems that the game sometimes rearranges the board while it's "thinking" on higher levels. This is probably due more to a bug and/or the Atari 2600's memory limitations than intentional cheating. Perhaps someone will someday disassemble the code and figure out just what's going on. I'm impressed that a chess game is even possible given the limited memory of the 2600.

You wanna see the Intellivision version. Even the manual tells you not to play on the higher levels, as it can take the computer hours or even days to make its move. Deep Blue it aint

I don't have to worry about any of that, the computer would kill me in a minute.
