Brad2600 #2 Posted September 24, 2004 They'll be lucky if they can make $10 off those games. But if they actually had something rare, then they could really help out their dog.
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #3 Posted September 24, 2004 $7 S&H! Yuk! interesting approach, they'll make enough for the round trip gas consumption perhaps.
CPUWIZ #4 Posted September 24, 2004 What if the dog really needs surgery, wouldn't you all feel like complete dickheads right about now?
Brad2600 #5 Posted September 24, 2004 What if the dog really needs surgery, wouldn't you all feel like complete dickheads right about now? No. Just pointing out that none the games they have are remotely rare. Therefore, they couldn't get much towards their dog's surgery. Even if it is true, which we don't even know. SpendTooMuchOnAtari #6 Posted September 24, 2004 Not especially... I have quite a few problems that I choose not to include in my auction listings.
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #7 Posted September 24, 2004 What if the dog really needs surgery, wouldn't you all feel like complete dickheads right about now? No. Just pointing out that none the games they have are remotely rare. Therefore, they couldn't get much towards their dog's surgery. Even if it is true, which we don't even know. I was just pointing out that they will cover the gas and wear and tear on their vehicle to get the dog to surgery.
Nimtene #8 Posted September 24, 2004 Exactly who are they trying to fool? I would feel much more compassionate for this person, if the photo of their 'hip surgery needing dog' was not obviously just their 'hip surgery needing granny' dressed inside a carefully knitted dog costume!
