New Jag owner needs a little info please....

I just got my first Jaguar in the mail today, I don't have any games yet, but a couple are on the way as well.

 

The problem is, I plugged it in & hooked up to the tv, and ....... nothing.

 

I don't suppose there has to be a cart in the slot for the power light to come on.... does it?

 

The package looked a little crushed - I hate the frickin post office!

I got such a good deal on it, I'd hate to think I would only get what I paid back with the postal insurance.

The Atari Jaguar wont power up unless you put a jaguar cart into it.

 

However, if you have teh jagcd on top of it,. and it doesnt work. then something is wrong with youre jaguar.
