I'm fuzzy on what's up lately ... why exactly have many of the homebrews for the 5200 (and kinda all systems) disappeared?

 

Or, can anyone mail me and lemme know where some could still be had? ([email protected])

 

Sheesh, just when I finally pulled my systems out (new house) and wanted to start buying all of them!

As far as I know, Al took them down at the request of the current owner of the Atari name. I dunno if any legal threats were involved (yet). Loss of support from AA means that the current crop of homebrewers and hackers have 1 less producer for their efforts.

 

Did Albert ever post exactly what the exchange beetween him and Infogrames was? There's a lot of speculation in so many threads, it's hard to determine what everyone is so worried about
