I bought a game that is shipped via UPS. the shipping is 8.00 and if I want to add insurance its an additional 1.50. would it be worth it to get the insurance or would I just be wasting the extra 1.50?

I've never had UPS or USPS lose anything that was actually sent to me.

I have used insurance rarely and only on very high-priced items. I have never had a package lost, and after a couple marginal experiences with "padded" envelopes, I make certain that the seller ships in a sturdy box so breakage is generally not an issue either.

UPS automatically insures their packages for the first $100 for free. Buying insurance would be redundant and unnecessary.
