Starcat #3 Posted October 5, 2004 Hi Linkovitch ! Yes, sorry about that. I would have liked to put all the infos onto the website for a long time already, but as I am over 120 KM away from the place and also a foreigner in that city, I couldn't really do much when it comes to the local organizing. Björn Baranski who does the local organizing sadly didn't have the time, to find the needed infos out and give them to me at an earlier time. But I hope you will still find the way and have a great time on the event Regards, Lars.

Tyrant #8 Posted October 6, 2004 looks like a Brit invasion of Neuss... yeay Now where can we get a job lot of handlebar moustashes ? and some monacles? I think I may only need some wax for that, not that I've tried lol. Then again I wont be attending, severe lack of money and absolute lack of making any kind of plans are to blame. At the end of this years event, put up the details for next years, so we all have plenty of time to prepare and get excited about it etc. Also, a two day event would be more motivation to go, as its a bit of a trek for many people to make just for one day. Creekree #11 Posted October 6, 2004 Hi Creekree ! No. Sorry. Regards, Lars. aw - WHY NOT???????
Starcat #12 Posted October 7, 2004 Hi ! It's better to have one decent demo to show (Eerievale) than two half done ones. Star Alliance is a team project and my partner on that project who is doing the design and a lot of creative thinking for the project had very little time to work on the project during the last months. So I focussed on Eerievale for that time, as it progresses much faster and is also a more interesting project in my opinion, simply because Eerievale is something entirely new. Even when you go and look at other system's librarys you will not find a game like this. (If you do find one, feel free to tell me, because I have been craving to play a game like this for a long time. ) Another reason might be, that today many people find adventure games a lot more interesting than action. Action is what they get day and night, on every system. Good adventures are rare today. Even many non Jag fans got thanks to Eerievale interested in the Jag already and some of them will probably also be at EJagfest, so the decision what will be shown was easy to make. But do not worry, this does not mean that Star Alliance won't be finished, it's just slower progressing. Regards, Lars.
Matthias #13 Posted October 7, 2004 Hello Lars, i've seen two photos of the outside of the building in which the event takes place, but do you have any info about the room (or rooms) itself? It's size, table shapes and sizes etc.? Will it be easy to get our stuff into the room (Staircases)? Are there enough power-outlets? Regards Matthias
Starcat #14 Posted October 7, 2004 Hi Matthias ! Sorry, I don't know. The place is new to me as well. There are tables and power sources enough from what I've been told, but I can ask the organiser about these details and post an answer here. Regards, Lars. justclaws #15 Posted October 8, 2004 Hello Lars, Sorry, I don't know. The place is new to me as well. There are tables and power sources enough from what I've been told, but I can ask the organiser about these details and post an answer here. I could really do with some information about accommodation, and details about the space available, the location etc., as well. It would be nice to get the basics... even contact details of the location maybe, as it looks to be a Gasthoff... surely if he chose it, he's got details? Where is everybody else staying, can somebody post links, or is everybody else going to travel. (I know Linkovitch and friends are staying elsewhere, yes, but perhaps that might be useful info too.) Cheers, R/JustClaws.
Starcat #16 Posted October 8, 2004 Hi ! Just recieved an anwer from the organiser: "Everybody should provide power cables with several connectors, but the room is meant for 100 people with enough tables and chairs and there are enough power sources in the room. There are no stairs on the way to the room. You can unload your items directly in front of the location, the way to the room is short. There are also some parking spaces and in other streets near the location there should be enough space to park as well. " Regards, Lars.
