why does my cart have REV

I know REV means like revision or somethign along the line but ive seen like Rev 1 or as high as Rev 17 but this one says REV. 0

is that possibel a 0 . what does that mean i thought 1 is the first revision what is 0?

Sometimes things start counting at zero (Computer programming is full of this)... it's really up to the whoever decides to do a revision. There's also a (very) slim chance that it's actually a prototype that was not finished enough to be revision 1... but I wouldn't bet on it.

also i got a pacman ( now know on the sears systesm it says TELEGAMES in that weird font in green? well on the pacman chip in red says 14-2 in the same text what is up with that

I have two Atari 400/800 prototypes that have Revision 0 on the labels.

hey tempest if my chip says REV 0 would you be able to tell me more about it?

also on top of that cart i got a pacman with red text saying 14-2 ( same style as on the sears telegames systems (green words telegames) ) who can explain that. is the chip a sears version in a atari case? whats the deal?
