Anyway it looked interesting. I beileve it was a WIP version of Haunted House. I would have loved to get my hands on that one. Sigh...

Just kidding. Doesn't matter since neither of us will get it now. I had the feeling I should have asked the seller a question to get his name and e-mail for a contact in case it got pulled, but I have been really swamped with work so I didn't bother. Now I wish I had. I have the feeling his reserve would have been higher than I wanted to pay anyway though (I had the high bid but the reserve hadn't been met).

Yes there is a big difference between listing something for sale, & reporting(trying to have ended) auctions by others. But NO there isn't a big difference between spamming, illegal activities, & selling prototypes. The difference is a matter of personal opinion, and it's often compared to assholes. Everyone's got one... blah blah.. I think you got the idea.

It's against the evil neighbor's rules to even list a proto (because intellectual rights of those are a pretty grey area). Ebay's stance is just to forbid them altogether. AFAIK, BIDiot does not have this restriction...nor does the marketplace forum here

Well what we're hoping (and my best guess) is that it's a work in progress version of Haunted House. There's a chance that it's the final version, but I believe I have seen a HH prototype with a later date so odds are good it's different.

Haunted House would have had plenty of friends here. Maybe not prototypes like it, but with other 700+ Atari games, it would have felt right at home.

You don't have any protos yet, MMF? Hell, even *I* have a Lab Loaner Ms. Pac-Man. I'm STILL kicking myself for not borrowing another $20 to get the Krull prototype the guy was selling with it.
