Activision Decathlon Glove

Activision used to have a mail order offer for a Bruce Jenner Decathlon Glove. Are these worth much?

 

I don't have one, but I saw one and was wondering.

If it was like the Nintendo Power glove...Probably worth a mint!!

 

I'd guess it was just some cloth glove tho. Might be worth some bucks to a hardcore collector. I would probably pay $5 tops for it. Hard to say unless you have had experience selling something like that. Alot of tomes you can get a little bit of cash from those promotional items... Look at the DataAge record, or the MASH t-shirt.

Unfortunately it wasn't like the power glove or I would have bought it at about any price. It was cloth. I actually have one of the mail in order forms for it, just not the glove itself.

 

I think this stuff is pretty cool, I've got found one of the "Defend Atlantis" entry cards in a box lot I bought. Maybe I should check the Atlantis cart to see if it's Atlantis 2 :wink:

I am a HUGE Decathlon fan, but I have never heard of this!!! Do you have any pictures available?! I would love to get a look at this glove.  

 

 

I picked up one of these gloves at PhillyClassic 4. Decathlon came with a mail-in form for you to send in some money to get the glove - I'm travelling for the next month so I can't take a picture, so I know I'm not helping much. The glove is yellow and white and sort of looks like a glove for golf. I also have the original mail in form. I paid $50 for it, which may be high, but I'm a huge track & field fan

I never got one, but I remember the advertisement. I was dissapointed that the glove was not functional other that to protect you hand from a blister or the like. It's just cloth like mentioned above. If I had bought it back then, It would have just been a collection piece and I would not have used it to improve my game play. I used my money back then to purchase more games(my addiction-- you know) If you pick one up, you'll probably like it, but don't expect it to help improve your score.
