Gregory DG #1 Posted October 6, 2004 I just tried the Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 demo... Very nice! (I couldn't stand the first two games, but I loved Theme Park & Sim Theme Park.) Tried the Doom 3 demo, that rocks. Sims 2 just came out and I loved the original. Half-Life 2 is on the way and will be the next phenomenal shooter. GTA: San Andreas is coming out soon. Question1: Are there any really GREAT games like this coming out that AREN'T sequels?! Question2: Which of these games will you buy? Question3: If you could buy just one, which would it be? Adrian M #2 Posted October 6, 2004 You mistakenly omitted Halo 2 from your list of great sequels!
sega saturn x #3 Posted October 6, 2004 And where might i ask are paper mario 2 and viewtalfull joe 2? They are really the only new games that are sequals i plan on buying.
keilbaca #4 Posted October 6, 2004 Played doom 3, not impressed, after a while, its repetitive. I'm really looking forward to Half-Life 2, not so much the game because I played the alpha version and I seen the demo's, but all for counter-strike source. When half-life 2 gets released, so does the full version of cs source, and I would LOVE to play de_aztec on cs source...
NintendoDieScreaming #5 Posted October 6, 2004 You're right, a lot of awesome games now are sequels. OUTRUN 2! OUTRUN 2! DA-DA-DA-DA-DOO! OUTRUN 2!!!!!!! If things go as planned, OutRun 2 will be only the second game I've ever bought on it's release day (The first, and only so far, being Sonic & Knuckles for the Genesis.). Stingray #6 Posted October 6, 2004 Question2: Which of these games will you buy? Question3: If you could buy just one, which would it be? I'm almost embarassed to admit that the answer to both of these questions in my case is the latest GTA game. I'm hopelessly addicted to that series. -S

I like playing CS even if I am not all that great at it. Sometimes if I play daily, I regain some of skills back but any kind of layoff and it takes me time to get back to my best playing ability. figgler #13 Posted October 7, 2004 There's that new GBA Zelda coming out early next year that feels like it's been a long time coming. A whole new 2D Zelda. I'm chomping at the bit! Metroid Prime 2, Midway Arcade 2 and Prince or Persia 2 are the other "must buy" sequels for my tastes that are coming fairly soon.

joeybastard #20 Posted October 7, 2004 Yes, you should all take videogames seriously. After all enjoying yourself playing a game should be treated in an adult like fashion.
Classic Pac #21 Posted October 7, 2004 What about Sly 2 they were raving about the game. Actually calling it better than the original on Judgment Day. Then today, I actually played at a a local gaming store. HOLY COW! they are right. The controllers, the action with the multiple charecters, the storyline. This is one fantastic game! xenomorpher #22 Posted October 7, 2004 I deff want GTA SA they say it might take up to 150 hours to get a hundred percent and Metal Gear Solid 3 of course so fun (played demo) I mean theres a lot of nice sequals.
Mr.FoodMonster #23 Posted October 8, 2004 If you pre-purchase Half Life 2, you can go play CS: Source... right freaking now. I am undecided if I want to get the gold package though...
Rocko #24 Posted October 8, 2004 Let's grow up people Precisely! Just because we made fun of Halo, right? Sly 2, got the first one about the same time last year (or the year before, when did it come out?) and beat it 100% in 3 days, good game, just short, I hope sly 2 isnt as short...
