Gabriel #26 Posted October 8, 2004 From that list, I've purchased Sims 2. Since then I've decided it isn't as fun to play with as the original. None of the other games you mention appeal to me in the slightest. Recent sequels that I've purchased are Mortal Kombat: Deception (PS2) and Gradius V. I finally even managed to find a copy of Gradius III/IV for $20. I played a demo of Burnout 3 (PS2) while at the store to buy Gradius V. B3 seemed like a fun game. I might pick it up when it drops down in price. I plan on purchasing Ace Combat 5 and Time Crisis: Crisis Mission when they appear. I'll definitely be picking up Midway Arcade Treasures 2 (PS2) next week. I'll probably pick up Dead or Alive Ultimate for the X-Box. I might grab Outrun 2 as well. However, both of those are lower priority for me. All the Tecmo games are overstocked and Panzer Dragoon Orta has made me very leery of any game with Sega on it. Major Havoc 2049 #27 Posted October 8, 2004 Panzer Dragoon Orta is awesome, one of the best games this generation.
shep #28 Posted October 8, 2004 Panzer Dragoon is a title I am excited to get for my Xbox when I find a decent one on ebay, along with KOTOR and I secretly want Blinx as well.

Cousin Vinnie #31 Posted October 8, 2004 Let's grow up people Precisely! Just because we made fun of Halo, right? Sly 2, got the first one about the same time last year (or the year before, when did it come out?) and beat it 100% in 3 days, good game, just short, I hope sly 2 isnt as short... No, Adrain thinks Mario games are childish. All video games are pretty childish, if you ask me. I wish I didn't like them so damn much. Adrian M #32 Posted October 8, 2004 No, Adrain thinks Mario games are childish. They are. How can you even argue that they aren't? The Mario games were fun on the NES back when we were children. However, the latest iterations (complete with Mario's trademark fruity voices and yells) of Mario and other classic Nintendo franchises have all but cemented Nintendo in the position of being a kiddie game company. Besides, today's kids are becoming fruitier thanks to the widespread influence of anime, Final Fantasy, and Pokemon, so perhaps that is why such games are accepted. Meh, to them I say! figgler #33 Posted October 9, 2004 People have been saying Nintendo is kiddie to me for 15 years. Nothing new. Kids used to scream it in my face when TG-16 came out and everyone thought they were sooo mature because the were playing SplatterHouse while I was addicted to Mario 2. Whatever. I'm not really sure what you mean by "fruity" is that like, gay or for kids or what? In any case, games are about FUN, not always the cool factor. Think of Nintendo as the Disney of video games. Following that comparison, anyone who thinks they're too cool or grown up for that "fruity" Mickey Mouse is just an idiot plain and simple

How horrible that you can't enjoy something innocent, that appears to be youthful just because of its style. It says a lot about you personality, and no its not a positive outlook, and anyone who says different is just simply being thick headed. That is all I will say on that matter. Jasoco #35 Posted October 9, 2004 I'd hate to think what Adrian thinks of Katamari Damacy. Let's see. Halo 2, Doom 3, Pikmin 2, Katamari Damacy 2 are all on my upcoming Sequels to buy List.
