PAL display compatablity question

This was posted in the hardware section but I think this thread has more traffic so here goes..

 

I have an A/V modded North American six switcher that I use on a North American Commodore 1702 monitor. Will this set up allow me to properly display PAL games? I know alot of the obvious stuff about this question but I am wondering if maybe these monitors are region free or something like that. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When it comes to the 2600, the display output is dependent on the region of cart you're running. A PAL cart outputs a PAL signal. So you need a display capable of handing the PALness.
