Foxsolo2000
Is that Burning Desire a later release to Beat em and Eat em or was it released in a different country
Rudolphy
Hello Folks, Found three very interesting carts in the wild today Have someone seen these before? Missile Control by Video Gems Spider Fighter?!? Unknown Game Very strange pirates?!? Edited February 1, 2006 by Rudolphy
Rom Hunter
Never seen them before. Very strange indeed. What kind of game is this game from Galaga Games? Edited February 2, 2006 by Rom Hunter
YOK-dfa
Are they PAL games? Judging from the Asian characters and the mention of "Japan Classic Ltd" on the carts i assume they are Asian pirates...
Foxsolo2000
Very nice indeed. Rom do you think that anyone will ever be able to catalogue all the games made by all the various game companies? Every day a new group is discovered
Rom Hunter
Yep. That's the fascinating world of the Atari 2600. No game console in the world can (and will) ever beat that. Edited February 2, 2006 by Rom Hunter
Rudolphy
The Galaga-Cart contains: Treasure Below by Video Gems I found 3 more very interesting carts 2 MOMO-Carts One contains RIVER RAID. The original "Activision" writing was removed and is now "GALAGA". Very nice. The other is FROGGER. A Multigame-cart containing: Ram it, Exocet, Pirates and Demolition Herby. Pirates is unknown to me. Interested in a screenshot And an Enduro-Pirate All carts are PAL and from ASIA I guess. Crazy ATARI WORLD - I LOVE IT

Rudolphy
Sorry for the worse quality of my pictures The River Raid Hack And the Galaga-Cart contains Jawbreaker. No spectacular finding, but some nice carts for my collection Edited February 2, 2006 by Rudolphy
Rom Hunter
Interesting. I own that 'Galaga' River Raid ROM. I always thought that Galaga was the game title (like Pyramid War or Tom Boy), but maybe it's the name of the company (although this game is in a Momo cart, instead of a Galaga Games cart). Rudolphy, I don't understand which game is in the Galaga Games cartridge. Is it Missile Control or is it Jawbreaker? I thought you said that Missile Control was in the first (black) Classic cartridge. If it isn't, then which game is in the black Classic cartridge? BTW: here are some other strange carts: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...c=11939&hl=momo Edited February 2, 2006 by Rom Hunter
Dino
Is that Burning Desire a later release to Beat em and Eat em or was it released in a different country 1010690[/snapback] I dont know which of the single enders was released first, but the single enders were released prior to the Playaround double enders. This is an extract about Mystique from the NTSC rarity guide: Mystique stirred quite a bit of controversy when they announced their games - they were to be marketed as "adult" titles with nudity and mature themes. They created three titles, but may have bitten off more than they could chew when groups such as Women Against Pornography protested their software. Many retailers refused to carry their games, and eventually they sold the rights to Playaround who repackaged them and sold them under the Playaround name. There is also some doubt as to the Origin of Mystique single enders, although most, if not all have been found in Australia.
