hey...can anyone tell me what happened to the 2600 kickman game that was on the in development page? i cant remember who was working on that one..has it been scrapped?.....i hope not as it was a favorite of mine on the c-64 and it would be a great 2600 cart.

Probably just another homebrew game that is permanently delayed. Most likely because the programmer has other stuff on his to do list. So, it's probably not dead, but also hasn't made any progress for a long time.

 

Maybe one day, it will be revived.

Yup, Al finally removed a few projects from the list where nothing happened at all the last 2-3 years. They certainly come back once the programmers show a sign of life.

ive seen screenshots of this one somewhere that looked like they were from an emu and it looked pretty good. I thought there was also a proto of this known to exist in some greedy hoarders' hands, just waiting for bit-rot to steal it from us all?

Nope, that was an early WIP homebrew.
