Volume on neo geo cabinet

I just got a neo geo 4 slot cabinet

 

The volume is low on 3 of the games

 

There is no volume on the 4th

 

It's turned all the way up

 

Any ideas?

1-Try swapping the carts around and see if it follows the game.

That's pretty much the usual response when it comes to Neo Geo games. Try reseating the cart, cleaning the contacts, and then the actual connector and see if that improves it. If still no improvement, try a different cart in the problematic slot.

 

I'd also suggest disconnecting and reconnecting the Jamma harness to the MVS board. And if that fails, check to see if your power supply is outputting the correct voltages with a multimeter.

also, you might want to put in a potentiometer so you can control it at any time.
