Why search links in auctions?

Scour the system with Spybot or Ad-Aware. That ought to do it.

So you guys don't see the links? Crap! I thought I was immune to that crap because I use Firebird. Anyway, this is the only page I get the links on. I'll run adaware anyway though.

Anyway here's the deal. I just scanned with Adaware and I only came up with a few tracking cookies. I thought I had originally posted a link to an ebay auction (hence the "auction central" forum), but I guess I had forgot.

 

It was just a single auction page that had the links, I had heard of scumware that did that kind of thing, but I didn't think I had anything since it was only one page. If I ever run into another one, I'll post it.

Surely if it was on my machine, it would happen with all (or at least most) pages.
