CC2 help?

hi all, i was hoping someone would be willing to help me out on a personal level (non board posts) with CC2 questions i may have.

 

i did get one when they came out but havent had anytime to tinker with it.

 

i do work in the industry and would be wiling to kick down some current gen games for your effort.

The same goes for me. I'd gladly trade you quantities of my 2600 collection if you have a CC2 up and running now and I could talk to you in PM or email about the details of setting it up.

It is really easy to get it going.

 

1. Make sure you have a MMC (Multi Media Card - 32K is best) and reader/writer

2. Put the files on the MMC (I can email you a complete set of roms and all the files ready to go on the MMC)

3. After the MMC has been copied to, put your MMC in the CC2, and then the CC2 in the 7800 and turn it on. DONE

My issue is that I think this would all be a lot easier if I could just get someone else's complete MMC contents, all ready to go. I don't want to bother with doing it all myself since so many others already have it set up and going.

 

For this service I can offer a generous trade.

 

It's not that I don't already have the ROMS or for that matter quite a darn few of the actual games (about 300 carts, Cuttle Cart Underground CDs, Worship the Woodgrain CDs, 256-in-1 and 128-in-1 multicarts, ROMS on the computer)... I just don't see the point in duplicating the efforts of others at least as far as getting a damn good start on it.

Here's my setup for CC2 minus the ROMs...

Just put the ROMs you want (checking against CC2MENU for the filenames needed) into the GAMES subdir and away you go

 

Why no ROMs? Some of them are actively tracked down (First Star, Activision etc) and some, how shall we say, not for public distribution (Ebivision etc).
