rogueleader #1 Posted October 22, 2004 Can a NRU'ed ebayer still get a paypal refund? I sold an N64 to this guy and he writes me saying he has not gotten it yet. I checked Fed Ex and they said it was delivered and even told me who signed for it. When I happened to look at the auction I noticed he was NARU'ed even though he had 100% positive feedback. Just wondering if this guy could still make a paypal claim and get his money back though I'm not overly worried since it was less than $20 total with shipping. Mindfield #2 Posted October 22, 2004 Yeah, they can get a refund. Being NARUed from eBay doesn't mean your PayPal account has been suspended.
rogueleader #3 Posted October 23, 2004 Oh well, I sent the thing to the guy and I have the tracking number to prove it. Even still like I said it wasn't anything big. At least he can't neg me.
kemsted #4 Posted October 23, 2004 That sucks about what that guy did, but what exactly is NARUed?
rogueleader #5 Posted October 23, 2004 That sucks about what that guy did, but what exactly is NARUed? Not A Registerd User. Ebay gave 'em the boot. It might not have been for nafarious activities though. He simply may have neglected to pay his bill. Which brings me to another question. If someone gets NARUed for not paying their bill can they get their account back if they pay up?
SimonTemplar #6 Posted October 23, 2004 I think people get NARU`ed when they have accumulated 3 ebay warnings for being a non-paying-bidder.
