I.D. help Please. What kind of cartridge was it?

I was out thrifting a few days ago and spied a few carts on some shelves behind the counter. The store was pretty busy and the only employee I could locate was the one working the register so I wasn't able to get a good look at the cartridges.

 

They looked to be for an old computer. Size-wise they were similar to a TI-99 cart. They were tan/beige in color. The contacts and board were exposed and sticking out of the bottom. I couldn't make out the titles very well, but the one on top seemed to be "Fun with Numbers" or something like that.

 

Any ideas? Thanks!

That's a TI-99 4/a cart.

"Fun with Numbers" is a fairly common TI 99/4a cartridge, it's most likely that.

No, I know what TI-99 4/A carts look like. When I say that the contacts were exposed I mean actually sticking out with nothing surrounding them. I guess I wasn't very clear. Here's a rough image of what they looked like.

Ahh, I have a few cartridges like that and for the life of me I cannot remember what system they are for. I think it was some type of educational system with only a few cartridges. Unfortunately I have no idea where they are at the moment. I'm sure your drawing will get you a quick answer, though.

That looks like a RCA Studio II cart, Fun with Numbers and Fun with Numbers II are too carts that were avalible.

That's it! A Google image search of RCA Studio II yielded images of the system and carts. These forums are great, so many helpful people. Many thanks for the responses.

No Problem, to bad its probably one of the worst systems out there.

They might be for the Magnavox Odyssey system. I found one a while back and sold it on ebay. Two months after that I found the really hard to find light rifle boxed and complete and sold that since I had no system for it. Dumb Luck. Anyways, I remember those games looked like that.

Its already been verified to be a RCA Studio II cart.
