Guardian in the wild !

Recommended Posts

I offer hope to all of us who go through tag sale after tag sale.

Flea market after flea market.

Thrift store after thrift store.

This incredible lot comes from my local flea market.

Only 3 tag sales this weekend so I hit the flea...

$4 a cart was a bit much until I saw the titles.

Apollo Guardian :D :D :D :D

River Raid II

Panda Space Canyon (My first Panda title :) )

No Escape

Star Voyager

Star Trek

Star Wars ROTJ

Zaxxon

Adventure

Backgammon

Karate

Hunt & Score

Chase

Real Sports Tennis

Hunt and Score

Sky Diver (White Text, not faded, date 1986 :ponder: )

Video Olympics

$65 for all of them. Or about $3.80 a cart.

The best part is that I needed all but about 5 of these. Mostly label variations, but still needed them.

It's a huge deal for me, because not only is it only my second "8", this little lot pushes me over the 300 mark for unique 2600 carts.

I just played Guardian for the first time.

Surprisingly, it's not a bad game!

Thats a great find for those games even at under $4 each. Cost is somewhat relative; if it is worth the price you are willing to pay thats great. Just don't get ripped off in the process. Reminds me of the Guardian I found but didn't buy as my girlfriend had the pleasure of paying for a rarity 8. Type in "Guardian"and "Vicki" in the search box and read all about it!

PS - Vicki, you still owe me breakfast and dear brother, I'm still waiting to touch the Malagai!

congrats! I too found my guardian in the wild. Didn't even know it was rare at the time, I got in a box of about 300 carts that cost $20 (lots of multiples,) but I couldn't pass up the price. Flea Market in the mid 90s.
