Have not dealt with the one you bought from but have dealt with drop shippers before.

They have no merchandise, just act as middlemen. Usually takes a long time to get your stuff.

When I bought it...The seller was new(about a week)but, he was id. verified and had his store and crap listed! Now, a week later...not registered and has re-registered as Fisherman1905 and is selling 15 more Halo systems w/Halo 2 L.E.! Is this normal for "drop sellers"? :?

Yeah, zero feedback and NARU.  That would worry  me as well.

Oh...by the way...nice auctions! grinning-smiley-003.gif

That would make me even more nervous. He may be an honest seller but he sure does not instill trust with this activity since this is an area with a high amount of rip offs.

Looks like he has raised the price as well.

What I don't get is...How does eBay let this happen? :?

I have not seen ebay to care much as long as they get the fees. There are some sellers with lots of bad feedback that stay on ebay.

If you don't receive it you should be able to get back most or all of the money thru ebay's insurance if he was id verified.

Just don't let it go past the time limits.

Wow...Did not know that! He was id. verified when it was purchased. How do I go about getting my money back from eBay, if I do not receive the system? :ponder: (thanks)

Read the pages here on ebay.  You have to follow all the steps or you will not get any money back.

http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidence/isgw...protection.html

It takes a long long time to get any money out of them.

I just let them have it!(eBay) They sent me some crap email telling me to go to the F.B.I. or F.C.C. bullcrap! I told them basically to shove it and that "all" the honest buyers on eBay made it what it is today! So they should be looking out for us and take the hit for this kind of crap! :x

If you paid using PayPal you might want to file a buyers complaint ASAP to try to recover your money. If your stuff comes then you can just cancel the complaint but if it doesn't you might be able to get some or all of your money back. Usually I would say that this is unlikely because he was booted from eBay and has zero feedback but he has opened up a new sellers account so "new" money might be in his PayPal account real soon. By the way PayPal's buyer complaint is first come first serve. I was able to get some money back from a seller gone bad but I had at least one hundred people contact me about the same seller and they didn't get anything back because they waited too long.

Thanks man! Unfortunately he only accepted cashiers check/money order. I sent a USPS postal. :x

Thanks again! :)

It wasn't hard to come up with this listing by obviously the same seller with a brand new ID:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8145490655

He just incremented his old ID name by 1 to fisherman1905 - how original? If he is a scammer, he is looking to score big by selling lots of these ASAP.

You might want to report to eBay or investigate further ASAP with this info. Good luck!

Says "Invalid Item" in that link you posted MrRetroGamer.

That is because Fisherman1905 has now been NARU as well. There is definitely something fishy here.

You said it...That seller says he is a different USAdropshipper seller and that Fisherman1904 is someone else!(BS) He told me that he ended that new auction because "he's done with it and going into the marines" :? :x Very strange individual...if you can only read the emails I've been getting from him! I finally sent him an email just to say stop F-ing with me and just say that he F'd me over. So I can contact eBay and try to get my $ back!

This is my first bad experience on eBay(totally my fault)...I've had a pretty good run though!!!

Also...I've already filled out about 40 magazine subscriptions to the address I sent the payment to. All say "please bill me later"! Don't "F" with me! :x :D

That's illegal (well, it is in the UK, not sure about the States). You might want to be careful...

And get your money back before you start trying to screw the guy over.

And even if you did/want to do this, it isn't very smart to brag about it in a public forum

Another forum on which I spend too much time has the standard tag "This is not a blog"

It serves as a great reminder that what you write is available to about 2 billion people if they had the desire to look for it. It's also worth remembering that, should you ever run for President of the USA, people will trawl through ever seamy thing you ever wrote.

You don't want to have to call a press conference from the front lawn of the White House and say "Yes I did sign the guy up for 40 magasine subscriptions, but I didn't inhale"

You gotta think about hte future dude.

Thanks for caring man... :P ! I actually might run for president, just to have some funny parodies made about me! Other than that...no desire to run for President.
