Big problem playing Ultima III in AtariWinPlus emulator

Recommended Posts

Howdy, the other day, i wanted to play the Atari version of Ultima III, so i use AtariWinPlus, and created up my party and all that ok, but when it came to play the game, I could only move North and South.

Cannot figure a way to move East or West, does any one know out to move East or West in Ultima III on AtariWinPlus ?

:?

Just redefine the keys to whatever suits you.

I believe it's unde input. I myself ususaly use keyset A when playing games.

Yeah,

On the PC its a pain - its * or ( for East and + or _ for west (backwards) - Once you get the hang of it no problems - but keep searching :)

After searching keys so hard, I finally found the West key (Shift/Plus) :? but couldn't find the East key at all, until i found already a Ultima III keyboard template file (did I put it there or did it come with AtariWinPlus?:ponder: ) in the Atariwin folder.

Now moving is much easier, arrows for East/West. but oddly for North and key for South.

Buts its much better now anyway...

Or maybe load suitable keymap for this game (ultima3.a8k) and save few buck & troubles with ebay... :D

Shift-= generates the + character. It follows that since the asterisk is above the 8 on PC keyboards, East would be shift-8 ;)
