mert #1 Posted November 18, 2004 Incase he decides to sell again I thought I'd share the sellers ID with everyone. It's dgnr8fox. Bought a cart from him on October 16th for $5.99 + $3.95 for shipping.I know...not alot of money...but it wasn't his money to take.Emailed him twice with no response.Called him and he said we would work something out.He then decided to respond to my second email.Said he could offer me a refund and if he gets the cart back he'd give it to me at no charge for my troubles.Told him that a refund would be great but that if he sent the cart to me I'd be more then happy to pay for it.Waited a few more days and still no refund.Filed with PayPal.Ya gotta love PayPal...they were able to refund me 44 cents. He didn't have alot of feedback but it was 100% when I paid for the cart.He now has 6 negs and has made his feedback private.
Red 5 #2 Posted November 19, 2004 I won this auction from the same scumbag. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...me=STRK:MEWN:IT Told me they sent it USPS and that they just moved. Told me it didn't come back to them and offered me a refund. I have yet to see the refund. Would have loved that Mr. Do. I haven't posted a negative yet because I was waiting to see what would happen when I e-mailed them back. Look for my neg. this weekend I guess. Like you said, they were 100% when I bid too. Now look. Now all that will happen is they will get removed from ebay and get to keep all of the money they stole with no repurcusions. Amazing. Then they will simply come back to ebay with a different name and sell again. That is why I hate ebay, but as a collector, it's become a necessary evil. It has happened to be twice before, but luckily never for more than $10. I just looked again. They just decided to make their feedback private. Interesting. mert #3 Posted November 19, 2004 I got the chance to see the other negs that were left before he made it private. They all mentioned no item and no response. He gave me the story about the move too.If he had mailed it would have been here by now unless he messed up on my address. But I just don't think that's the case. I hope you get the carts but it's not likely you will.
Susuwatari #4 Posted November 19, 2004 There is no reason to make the feedback private. He doesn't have much of a feedback to begin with (29 before the negs) and it's easy to start a new account with clean slate.
Red 5 #5 Posted November 19, 2004 I think I may have caused the 'private' feedback. In my e-mail, I explained why it is unlikely my item got lost in the mail because of the following... I then went on to list all the auctions and negative feedback that was left by others. Cut and paste links to his negative feedback pages, etc. I showed him how there was evidence that contradicted his 'lost in the mail' story. The next day, he has private feedback.
