Nostalgic #1 Posted November 20, 2004 Have any of the GBA players out there tried Tron 2.0 Killer App? I'm intrigued by it, but it also looks like it could be a tough game to play on such a little console. I'd like to hear some impressions before I consider buying it. What do you all think of this game?
Phosphor Dot Fossils #2 Posted November 20, 2004 I'll have a full review of this game up on my site soon. Suffice to say...it rocks. Heck, get it just for the Tron and Discs of Tron arcade ports.
Justin42 #3 Posted November 20, 2004 Suffice to say...it rocks. Heck, get it just for the Tron and Discs of Tron arcade ports. Those are the 2 biggest reasons I can see to get it; since the GBA screen is totally oreinted wrong for those games, are they still decently playable? (I assume from your enthusiasm they are, but those are probably my top 2 favourite arcade games so I am really scared...)
elviticus #4 Posted November 22, 2004 Well I just got it - it's pretty cool! I only played a few minutes, but I'm going out of town, so I plan to play quite a bit. The main reason I got it was for the 2 ports that I haven't played for about 20 years - sweet. My first impression is positive. It's been a long time since I played them, but they seem pretty faithful to the originals and very easy to play! The sounds/music seem very much how I remember them too. Haven't played the main game at all yet, but I've heard it's pretty good... funny, to me the main game is more like the bonus!

Discs of Tron is barely affected by it, since it had a more or less horizontal display. Tron's vertical display is "squished," but you can still see everything just fine. I'm a big fan of both games, and was very happy with how they turned out.
