liquidcross #1 Posted November 22, 2004 Read it if you get bored... http://www.insidepulse.com/article.php?contentid=29336 Enjoy!
figgler #2 Posted November 22, 2004 I don't enjoy actually. Hardware reviews are so stupid. Does it work? That's all I need to know. Reviewing is okay and has its place for software, but people who write up hardware reviews need something better to do.
Stingray #3 Posted November 22, 2004 Okay, well I did in fact enjoy it. Thanks for taking the time to write up the review. -S
figgler #4 Posted November 22, 2004 Okay, apologies are in order here. Liquid, you know you are cool in my book. No offense intended at all. I guess I shouldn't be posting here while I'm having such a shit day at work, taking it out on my fellow members and such. Sorry. Carry on
ZylonBane #5 Posted November 22, 2004 I don't enjoy actually. Hardware reviews are so stupid. Does it work? That's all I need to know. So if a game console has a blurry screen, a 15-minute battery life, and buttons that make your fingers bleed, you wouldn't care? Your entire critical process breaks down to: works/doesn't work? Wow, what a discerning consumer you must be.
figgler #6 Posted November 22, 2004 Of course I would care, but you're talking about system specs, not really elements that require an opinion or a review. This kind of thing can be determined by looking at the packaging or manual.
Jess Ragan #7 Posted November 23, 2004 I don't enjoy actually. Hardware reviews are so stupid. Does it work? That's all I need to know. So if a game console has a blurry screen, a 15-minute battery life, and buttons that make your fingers bleed, you wouldn't care? When did the game.com come into this argument? For what it's worth, I thought LiquidCross's review was both entertaining and informative. Moreover, it was fair and objective, something that the tools at that OTHER web site (you know the one) refuse to be when discussing the DS. "Nintendo's gonna die! Nintendo's gonna die! Their time is up! The writing's on the wall!!! Sony's gonna eat 'em alive, man!" The PSP hasn't even been RELEASED yet and they're already predicting doom for the DS and praising the PSP to the heavens. If that's not blind product loyalty, I don't know what is.
