doubledown #1 Posted November 24, 2004 Oh wait no it's not. The title is just another example of excessive keyword spaming. It's only the unbelieveably common version of Q*bert for the 2600, not for the ColecoVision as the title suggests, but there it is in the title. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8149057563&rd=1 People like this should be banned from E-Bay!!!! Albert #4 Posted November 24, 2004 Doesn't look like this seller specializes in classic video games, I don't see the same keyword spamming in any of their other video game auctions. It's possible the seller did some very basic research for the game and found information on "Q*bert's Qubes" and the Colecovision version and just threw everything together not knowing there are separate versions. Of course, I could be wrong and the seller might be intentionally keyword spamming. ..Al
doubledown #5 Posted November 25, 2004 Just out of curiousity and disgust I asked the seller: I asked: "I'm just curious. The title says Q*bert's Qubes but the label just says Q*bert. Which version is it or does this cartridge have both games on it. Also is this the Atari version or the ColecoVision version. The item title indicates both. I didn't know of any cartridges that were playable on both of those systems. Thanks." He replied: "I do apologize for any confusion the title may have caused. The cartridge is indeed Q*bert for the atari 2600 system. Thanks, Brandon."
Philflound #6 Posted November 25, 2004 Well, I just reported Brandon as a keyword spamming violation. We'll see if Ebay takes it down or not. Phil
Buyatari #7 Posted November 25, 2004 Lets get as many people we can to ask the seller a question and ask if he has the wrong picture posted. The more detailed the question the better. Spam can be a two way street.
jetset #8 Posted November 25, 2004 MAN! And I get grief for complaining about shipping rip-offs! Honestly, it's far from bad. The ones that have Xbox Atari Nintendo NOT PS2 Sega in the title and "I'll soon be considering selling my Crazy Climber Quadrun and Glib, but for now I'll just have a grilled cheese sandwich" in the description that are the bad ones. Nevertheless I emailed him a question about it just to further piss him off.
