The Urbz DS

Ok so this may be a stupid question....but I bought this game Sunday when the DS came out and really like it so far. However I can't figure out one thing and its driving me crazy. I'm probably just missing something really east but anyway here's my dilema. I rented a house for my urb and I know want to purchase a TV and stuff to put in it, I look through the catalog and find one I have enough money for but can't seem to figure out how to buy it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know I'm pretty stupid but oh well.
