Alex #1 Posted November 21, 2001 We just added the missing entry for NTSC Ikari Warriors, anyone have the ROM for this? It should be different from the PAL ROM which we already have.
MattyXB #2 Posted November 21, 2001 I think its not dumped yet. I have it not. Matthias
Tempest #3 Posted November 21, 2001 I'm starting to wonder if it really exists. It's like the Sunrise Glacier Patrol, lots of people claim to have seenit, but no one has come forth with any proof. Tempest
mvigor #4 Posted November 21, 2001 Are we talking about Atari's game Ikari Warriors, CX26177? That's not really rare is it? I know I have that in a box at home and I remember playing it. My TV doesn't do PAL, either. I'm probably just thinking of some other similar game. But I'll check if no one else seems to have it.
GrizzLee #5 Posted November 21, 2001 Ikari Warriors exists in NTSC. If I could ever find the the email of an old collecting buddy of mine, I'd dump it. He has it as well as NTSC Motorodeo. -Lee
Alex #6 Posted November 21, 2001 Yes, this is one of the reasons I want to post the ROM and screenshots, because this has been a contested issue. Several reliable people have claimed to own it. I bought mine from Video61 years ago new in the box. He's a US dealer, and he didn't have any PAL stuff back then, so maybe mine is NTSC (need to dig it out of storage). Supposedly, the ground looks pinkish on a PAL cart on an NTSC TV, and brown on an NTSC cart.
ubersaurus #7 Posted November 22, 2001 If nothing else Thomas may convert it and a few others to NTSC, so maybe he can give you the converted PAL file.
sly #8 Posted November 24, 2001 I am convinced my version is NTSC. I brought it to the Philly Classic. No one could prove me wrong, however, I would like to 100% verify this. I am not able to download the roms. Please someone post the differences once they are discovered.
