Mega Modded Sega Genesis Model 3 A/V S-Video LED Accessories

Recommended Posts

I'm at it again. More modded video game consoles just in time for Christmas. This one is my pride and joy so far I think. Cramming all those components and wiring inside that tiny case was definately a challenge. Please let me know what you think.

Also I have a refurbished and Modded Magnavox Odyssey 2 up for auction right now with composite A/V outputs.

Nice job, thats really cool... 8)

Btw, whats the difference between "Hyper Blue" and "Sonic Blue" ??  ;)

No difference. The LED is technically called Hyper Blue due to it's water-clear lens and its output frequency. I call it "Sonic Blue" to give it more symbolism for the SEGA console.

At times there are a lot of guys who will pay big bucks for Intellivision items. You might want to try to do some of your mods on some original Intellivision systems. My guess is that you might make more than your Colecovision mods.

I briefly tried the A/V mod for the INTV II, but couldn't get it to work. When I get some extra time I'll get back to it.
