Cybergoth #154 Posted January 11, 2005 Hi there! Uihjah... Hm... I found another article where they said that the "Media Markt" chain sells them in Germany. I'll try my luck later this week and see if they still have 'em. Greetings, Manuel
slip81 #155 Posted January 11, 2005 I've never had a C64 so I think I'll be picking this up. It will be a nice toy to play with untill I get around to getting an actual one.
MacbthPSW #156 Posted January 11, 2005 What the review made me wonder was the complaints about the controler itself. So is this stick a real Competition Pro or just inferior stuff trying to mimic the look ? It's more a look-alike than a work-alike. Internally, the DTV actually works very much like a classic Atari 2600 stick, which some like, and some hate. There does seem to be a quality control issue, so some people get joysticks that work really nicely, and others get ones that are too touchy. You can easily see this by reading the various forums - some people say theirs is great, others are unhappy with the controls, at least in certain games. The good thing is that it's pretty easy to pull apart and loosen slightly, and then the control is much better.
