atari70s #3 Posted November 25, 2001 how would i know if its NTSC or not
liquid_sky #4 Posted November 25, 2001 check the colors it gives you with the colors of a screenshot. If they look all funny odds are its PAL. If they look pretty close, NTSC
Albert #5 Posted November 26, 2001 If it's NTSC, I'd be willing to pay more than $50 for it. ..Al
Tempest #6 Posted November 26, 2001 If it's NTSC I'd be willing to kill Al for it. Tempest
King Asmo #7 Posted November 26, 2001 Jeez.. that seems a bit harsh. I mean, I can understanding maiming him, but I don't think you need to send him to the morgue. This isn't River Patrol we're talking about. For some reason, all I can picture is people professional wrestling for carts instead of title belts. I wonder if Pitfall Harry would be interested in being my tag-team partner in my upcoming match for 2 copies of Eli's Ladder.
Tempest #8 Posted November 26, 2001 Funny you should mention Eli's Ladder, that's the one game I've never seen up for auction on Ebay. I wonder how many people actually own one? Tempest
atari70s #9 Posted November 26, 2001 well im not sure if its NTSC guys but whom ever buys it takes the risk that it may not be NTSC . there isnt a green label on the back like ive heard people say in the past but mame kill or whatever you must ill take the highest offering on the cart. the label is in great shape. let me know all you can email me if your a serious offerer. Tempest ,Al i know your true and serious offers (al i think you are but havent heard about your collection and all). anyway please contact me. and ill be glad to hear about what you think. Albert #10 Posted November 26, 2001 Man, you guys are brutal! I think you need to find something or someone else to take out your physical aggressions on. Maybe you could sign up for the Marines, I hear they're looking for a few recruits now. And that'll take you out of the country where I doubt you'll be competing with me for rare 2600 carts. ..Al
videotwit #11 Posted November 26, 2001 I think Ben's more of a Navy kinda guy ... ( Now, if only I could find that old thread ... )
King Asmo #12 Posted November 26, 2001 I won't be joining the marines any time soon.. I'm not a U.S. citizen (yet).. just a permanent resident. We just think you'd be easy to take, Albert, coz you have the least intimidating avatar. Atari 70s reminds me of that roller skating comic book hero from the early 80s.. what was her name.. Dazzler? atari70s #13 Posted November 26, 2001 KING ARE YOU CALLING A WOMAN?!?!?!?!? THAT IS CROSSING THE LINE. Dont make me mad. I am a proud MALE roller skating atari obcessor
King Asmo #14 Posted November 26, 2001 Hey man, she kicked *serious* butt. Show some respect. I said you *reminded* me of her.. not that you *are* her. Maybe you're like her big brother or something.
atari70s #15 Posted November 26, 2001 sounded like you were implying i was LIKE her. being a female or soemthing.
StanJr #16 Posted November 27, 2001 you're awfully defensive, 70's. You got something to hide? DAZZLER was a real kookie Marvel character from the 70's. She still exists, but has not appeared in a Marvel comic book since earlier this spring (she had a whole issue of X-men Unlimited devoted to her life, issue #23 to exact). 70's avatar is very reminiscent of her early appearances... Tempest #17 Posted November 27, 2001 I think she also appeared in the X-Men arcade game by Konami. Tempest
atari70s #18 Posted November 27, 2001 All i got to hide is my atari collection
King Asmo #19 Posted November 27, 2001 I still have some Dazzler comics from around '81 or so. I was really into that comic when I was like 8.. go figure.
atari70s #20 Posted November 27, 2001 i got tons of 1970s comics forsale and monster mags
King Asmo #21 Posted November 27, 2001 Well, if 70s comics are anything like 70s video games, it would appear that right now is your best time to auction them off on eBay.
atari70s #22 Posted November 27, 2001 dont have much time for that but im offering them to people who want them on atariage.com
