Plastic Surgery on a 7800

Well my 7800 came from AA member davidcalgary29 across the canadian border and into Miami FL what ever happened in between both myself and David are clueless!!

 

Bottom line it arrived like it had been dragged 20 Miles behind a car smashed up into bits and no sign of wear on the box!! STUPID CUSTOMS WORKERS THEY DID THE SAME THING ON MY ST!! NOT THE MEGA THOUGH!!

 

But thanks to a recent transaction with AA member RobertM my 7800 gets a face lift and she is ready to hit 2005 with a bang!!

 

ONE THING THAT CONCERNS ME IS THE DIFFERENCE IN LABLES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE 7800 CASES!!

 

I have more detailed pictures of the lables if required please tell me!!!

The plastic used for the 7800 case is pretty brittle, I have a few broken cases myself. Glad you were able to repair it!

Yes they are, not seen clearly in the picture the bottom of the old one is shatered around the lable!! So you think this might lead to breakage during transit or was it US Customs at fault when crossing the border

Maybe it's time to pull out the modding tools...

 

Many of us have seem modded computer cases...maybe it's time someone did the same to a 7800

Why bother? I love the 7800 case a lot more than the 2600 or 5200 case. It just screams of being simple and practical.

 

And it's got smooooooth lines, etc.
