+johnnywc #1 Posted November 27, 2001 This weekend I caught the end of the movie Fantastic Voyage which inspired me to play the 2600 game of the same name (via emulation). I must say that I was impressed! The game is quite challenging and has decent sound effects and graphics. A little off topic - it reminds me of Caverns of Mars except that the screen scrolls down instead of up. Any comments?
King Atari #2 Posted November 27, 2001 "Fantastic Voyage" is one of the better games by FOX, I was generally disappointed with their games but FV was one I like (I vote "M*A*S*H" as their best). Of course, I liked the movie, too, so maybe it's that.
Ze_ro #3 Posted November 27, 2001 I've always considered Fantastic Voyage a pretty standard shooter, though that doesn't really change that it's a good game (after all, "standard shooters" probably weren't common back in the days). As for 20th Century Fox games, I'd have to say that Fast Eddie is my favorite, and Spacemaster X-7 is good too --Zero
