I seemed to have inadverently downloaded a virus which searched my eniter PC for email adresses and then sent them from my POP3 account.

 

So if you recieve an email from [email protected] or [email protected] then please DONT open the attachments.

 

I know they sent to StanJr, Alex and Russ Perry Jr, but others may also recieve them.

 

Sorry about this, but other than sending out random emails this virus doesnt seem to do anything damaging.

For a few days, I get an E-Mail with Attachment. But it cames from [email protected] or something like that. Maybe he has get an Mail from you and open it?

 

The Virus I have get was:

[email protected]

 

The Attachment was calls: Readme.mp3.scr

 

My Virusprogramm was up to date, so I found it before I click on it. And I have delete it.

I have search for infos. It search to for passwords on your computer. But it seems that he destroy nothing. And the Virus is very new.

 

But at all nothing happen on my computer.

I got a clean e-mail from you today, but none like what you've described. I'll keep an eye out for them, though. Thanks for the tip.

I hate that stupid virus. I must get 10 copies of it a day. Alot of different variations prentending to be pictures or audio... one said "me.nude.mpg.scr" - yuck.

 

One of my online businesses gets 500 emails a day and they are all forwarded through my personal email... /shudder.
