BTW, these are all NTSC Activision games for the 2600 complete in the box and a few PAL exclusives ("Tomcat" is loaded with "Fighter Pilot", the english PAL release).

That is nice, but I don't think that I ever saw one of those on display in any one of the video game stores that I frequented 20 years ago. Perhaps it would have been used at a trade show like CES?

Actually, it is an 1999 Activision display from Activision Germany.

Cool. I don't remember these standup displays -- I seem to recall only seeing games in display cases, safely out of reach ...until it came time to blow them out for a dollar apiece. I still love the feeling of going into Target and picking up XBOX games for $5 on their clearance rack. That addiction began with Atari!
