dvdguy #1 Posted December 12, 2004 I know people make mods like this all over the place, but I still thought it was cool: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8153019568&rd=1 Please don't yell at me...
Chickybaby #2 Posted December 12, 2004 'They' won't yell at you, I promise... | 'They' will just tell you how overpriced it is and make fun of you instead. Have a great night! (But those are kindof neat.)
MegaManFan #3 Posted December 12, 2004 I've got one of those modded for 7800. They're pretty nifty.

Dont fear ever being yelled out for being impressed at a mod. If you are, you could always reply "hey, at least I'm no jetset". All mods are totally awesome and beyond my limited technical comprehension. This one is no different. VERY cool. If this could be done for the 5200 I'd crap my pants. +uosipa llamxew #7 Posted December 13, 2004 Nintari? Isn't that the video game console that Willy Beamish used to play? This is a cool mod, but I'd be more interested in buying one if it were one of the NES dogbone controllers, or better yet an adapter to let you use any NES controller. I never noticed when I was younger, but those rectangular NES and SMS gamepads are quite painful on the hands! That or I'm growing frail in my old age. :-( For now, if I want to use a gamepad, I just plug in a Genesis controller - no mod required.
Mindfield #8 Posted December 13, 2004 Using the word "nifty" though...that takes some courage. No, "keen." That takes courage. "Nifty" just inspires a smack upside the head.
ATARIeric #9 Posted December 13, 2004 that is a "remarkable" controller or as my late grandpa would say "sentrifical"
moycon #10 Posted December 13, 2004 I dunno. When I played Activision anthology with the joypad I realized that I dont like playing these old Atari games with them very much. The scores I could rack up went waaay down using the joypad. Not exactly sure what is about them. I dont have a problem when playing Nintendo or whatever but something about Atari2600 that just doesn't feel right when playing with a pad. Still it is pretty cool to see, I wonder why only one of the fire buttons works. Is it harder to make a joypad that you could use on the 7800?
