Gunstar
I hope no one thinks this is spamming, I'm going to sell my rotary controller (picture of it on page 5(?) of the "show me your collection" thread), it's going to go up on E-bay, tonight, but if someone is interested in buying it directly from me, PM me today. Gunstar
You didn't miss the auction, I haven't sold it yet. I've made enough money on other auctions to make rent&pay bills for the month, so I'm holding off on selling this baby for now. I'll wait and see if I get a job after the first of the year, I have a couple interviews in early January. If I don't get employed by mid January, then I'll be selling it along with some more stuff for the next month's bills. I will be putting an Amiga 2000 system bundle and Mac performa 6115CD up for auction soon though, if anyones interested in those, PM me...they come with monitors and software. doctorclu
So tell me about the 2000.
Gunstar
So tell me about the 2000. Well, it may or may not come with a G-force030 board (40mhz)in it with the 68882 co-processor; I sold it seperately in auction, but it's been 4 days and the bidder has yet to contact me, pay for it or respond to my invoices...but, it definately has the 286 AT bridge board in it, with a dual-drive (3.5&5.25) for the bridge board, dual 3.5 inch floppies for the A2000, 5MB of ram (9MB if the 030 board is installed-expandable to 16MB for a total of 21MB!), a 5gig hard drive, kickstart 40.63, workbench 37.67 and a BUNCH of cool software. definately comes with an almost new keyboard and a mouse, I'd probably throw in a joystick too and an RGB monitor cable designed for a 1084 monitor (or other Amiga monitors if they use the same cable). I'm still debating if I want to include the 1084S monitor though, as I use it for other things too. PM me if your interested. Sorry to get off topic and spam here guys, but he DID ask... justclaws
Hello, Well the time came when I finally got myself a nice pre- built rotary, a rotary Pro Controller, (similar to those standard ones produced by Tyrant, but accepted by Tyrant as not a clone ) by Jonathan Ascough - via BIN on Ebay UK. My initial thoughts were to go for a classic controller modded to a rotary (it seems such a shame to mod a rare Pro controller) but faced with a BIN for a classic and a rotary, at the same price, I went with the Pro anyway... It arrived a few days ago, but work and other things got in the way of trying it, but tonight I've interrupted my game of T2K to post the good news here that it's great... Responsiveness is good, although I suppose I miss being able to spin the rotary slightly, it has a gentle click action as did Tyrants', which is actually good not bad. I do find at present I have to take my hand off it and readjust though to get a full circle, but my thumb is also able to spin it fairly reliably, so that's fair. Although it's been reviewed on AA & JS2 forums now, I will be putting up some pages shortly on JustClaws with close-up photos, with liaison from Jonathan too. Cheers, JustClaws.
