I Finally Found A NES/FC Converter!!

Recommended Posts

I searched through 5 Gyromites and came empty handed, then I found "Stack-UP" the second game in the ROB series.

I am hyped!! But im keeping the game in my collection, im currently looking for a second copy of stack-up for I can convert it into a Custom-Made Famicom converter, something like the Honeybee converter!!:D

Glad to hear.

I recently received some Famicom games in the mail from my DigitalPress Secret Santa.

I also built a site for them but I'll have to put it on the web soon.

The Famicom adaptor is neat but be warned. Some games will not fit on the adaptor, which means that they are likely pirate Famicom carts.

do all of the NES excitebike carts use an adaptor inside it ? ive heard once that they were all famicom carts and because of supply and demand when that game came out all they did was add an adaptor to it and then pack them in the NES cart.

i know people say you can tell by how heavy the cart feels compared to others, but i cant tell the difference with the excitebike that i have :ponder:

I've also heard that you can tell by the shape of the screws. Carts with "normal" shaped screws have the adaptors inside and carts with the "star" shaped screws do not. I'm not 100% sure on this, mind you, but I heard it from a reliable and knowledgeable source.

just for the hell of it, i broke open 1 of my excitebikes, no adaptor, i did a search on it, and that website isnt coming up anymore

You may already have a Famicom-to-NES adapter - ... 1. Find a copy of Gyromite, Excitebike, Stack-Up, Hogan's Alley ... This is the Famicom-to-NES adapter! ... I don't have to buy an overpriced Honeybee adaptor from some ...
