So what's the deal with the animation? Is it part of the reward or part of the "game play"?

Got it in Dec and just was able to take a pic or two of it..

 

The game and the screen go together.. you have to complete missions like in the real arcade game with the 4 characters.. The 4 buttons around the screen actually track your game stats for 60 days. I really suck at this game but a girl at my party on Sat got the machine to go berzerk and she managed to rescue some hostages? I've never done this and only caught the last bit of her game.

 

It is still a slot machine at heart, just with a ton of animation..

 

When you put a coin in it sounds like a shell falling in the chamber, then when its all spinning and you push the buttons it sounds like gun shots..

 

Generals, enemies, & all the Slugs are included.. The LCD is also way clearer than any of the portable DVD players I've seen. Also SNK/Playmore has their name all aver this game..

Now I'm really confused!

Do you play the slot and then play the video game for a larger return?

The screen reacts to how well you play the slot machine itself.. the only real controls you have are the three main buttons.. which control how you shoot the enemies in some cases, but its still based on the wheels spining around.

 

I got this machine at a Super Auctions event here in WI. It was the only one they had and some web sites say its a model from this year..
