Our newest toy!

Recommended Posts

Aimee and I added a new toy for the house! Some day we will have the most kick ass game room ever! This baby is in mint shape and plays perfectly! Best of all, I got it from a friend of mine who runs the comic shop I go to. They got it free when a previous owner left it, so he let me have it for $50!!!! $50!!!! It is hooked up and ready to go!

Sorry just had to share! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

More importantly, what's with the color of the wall???!! j/k

That's pretty sweet Stan, and a bargain too. Is the TV built in or is it one just placed there?

Hey that would look really cool right next to your Super Nintendo Kiosk.

Oh that's right you sold it. ;)

Very cool Stan Jr.

Did it come with the monitor and everything?

What about games? Did it come with any?

And what does Big Player mean when he says you sold Super Nintendo Kiosk? Surely this is a mistake. No-one would sell Super Nintendo Kiosk.

Again...Nice find.

Please send me taco's.

Thanks

No No No I think he's asking how Stan Jr masturbates about the house, near the new set-up etc.... At least that's what I'm reading.

Rick Weis and I found 4 of these once. Of course we picked them all up. They were brand new. At $80 each, it was hard not to pass them up... and before you ask.. they are all gone. They have managed to find good homes in the game rooms of other NWCGE memebers :)

I keep mine with my other store display kisosks DC, XBOX, IMAGIC, Atari, Saturn Kiosks, etc... ;)

Someday, I should post pics of my gameloft....

Regards,

-Lee

To be honest, I just kind of lucked into it. It had been sitting in the comic shop since they had moved to the new building. One of the dudes who owned the shop also worked for EB and he brought the kiosk over from there, and then when he left the store, he just left the kiosk. It hadn't been on or running for a couple of years, so I finally just asked my friend if he wanted to sell it. Next thing you know there is a kick ass PSone Kiosk in my kitchen!

Questions:

The TV is a standard TV (made by Quasar) that just sits in the TV tray that is built into the kiosk. I assume it can be replaced with any other standard TV of that size, but no need because as of right now it works pretty well. There is a slight burn in the screen from where someone left the first Spider-man game paused for a few months or something, but its very very slight.

It came with a PSone and a demo disc of some kind, nothing interesting. But, I've since taken all of that out and put our PS2 in there.

Some one added a "RESET" button on the side, but failed to actually hook it up, so I am looking to figure that one out.

Plus there is a master switch you can plug the TV and console into and run them off of, but I do not have the cord that goes from the master switch to the wall, so I'll have to track that down as well. That is the biggest shame, because the master switch also controls the light on the top.

But other than that, it is in MINT condition and OH SO SWEET!

Tigger, yes there was a desk there, but it got moved this summer.

moycon, yes we had a SNES kiosk last year, and sold it at Philly.

I've tried mailing the Tacos, but the sauce keeps soaking through the envelopes!!!

Very neat! For $50 there's no way in the world you could pass it up!
