Asteroids Variant...

Okay, this is more of a collecting thing... I have two picture label copies of Asteroids. Nothing special. However, one shows the copyright date on it on startup and the other does not. The stickers look identical, was the no copyright screen version just a later run of the same game? Any thoughts?

I'm not sure if it's related to the copyright or not, but have a closer look at the labels. There's one version of that blue picture label that has the picture cropped - look at the very bottom asteroid in the picture.

I believe the one with no copyright date also have an issue with starting a new life where you'd pop right smack on the asteroid while the one with the copyright is a bug fix where the game will hold your next life until the immidiate area is clear.
