Anyone finished Secret Quest?

This game is TOUGH!

 

Anyone out there finished it? This is my next game to beat, and even with the password save system, it's very hard!

I got up to the 4th station before, but i wrote the password down wrong, so I couldn't continue, sadly.

I'm on station 5 right now, it gets TOUGH. I love it!

That's what I love about the 2600 games...many are tough, but never to the point of controller-throwing frustration! You are generally rewarded if you persevere!

 

Secret Quest, while tough, feels like a game that can be mastered, after you invest some time in it. Addictive to say the least!

One day I sat down with a notebook and mapped out all the levels... Or I should say all the lvls but the last one... I never could get past the 2nd to last LVL... Probably just as well... Knowing the fact that it's an Atari game.... It'll either... A.)Just end...Or

B.)Restart!!

I have finished it. I mapped out the entire 8 levels in order to beat it. The 8th level is very confusing without a map. I am in the process of putting together a map for my web page.

Sorry, I actually told the ending in another thread.

 

Basically, once you reach the final transporter, the last "monster" icon blows up while playing a short tune. After that, you go back to the title screen.

Kinda disappointing, but at least it is something.

I think a "congratulations" on the screen would have gone a long way.
