vb_master #126 Posted February 19, 2005 Anyone see the Entropy demo yet?
MacbthPSW #127 Posted February 20, 2005 Which seems strange considering this is a 4 way stick and not an 8 way, isn't it? Seems like there'd be a lot of 'space' there where diagonal should be. It's an 8-way stick, just like pretty much any other Atari compatible joystick. For games like Jumpman Jr. I wish it was 4-way, but games like Cybernoid would really stink with just a 4-way. MacbthPSW #128 Posted February 20, 2005 Anyone see the Entropy demo yet? Yup, it's great. A good summary of all the software secrets is here: http://jledger.proboards19.com/index.cgi?b...&num=1104435234 It includes how to run the demo.
Slickone #129 Posted February 24, 2005 I tried losening the joystick but it didn't help. Seems possibly even worse? I turned each screw 1.5 turns. Can't turn them too much or it could cause problems later since they're short. So only some have this problem?
NovaXpress #130 Posted February 24, 2005 The UK release has a better set of games, such as Marauder and the complete California Games. Here's the website for the developer, DC studios. They also made the Atari, Activision and Intellicvision sticks. http://www.dc-studios.com/ US sales of the C64 DTV have topped 250,000 units – at $29.99 each – in just three monthsNice try. Too bad that the majority of those sticks were actually sold for $10 and the true number seems to be exactly 250,000. Not too good when compared to the millions of Atari/Pac sticks that have been sold but I hope that its enough to inspire more.

Nope, you've got to open it up, and loosen the screw that holds the white 4-fingered piece to the stick. So only some have this problem? Yup, 1 of my 4 DTVs had a crappy stick. So it was the perfect candidate to be opened up and hacked.

I was opening up 2600 sticks when I was 10.
xeex #133 Posted June 16, 2005 (edited) If anyone's interested, these things are back on sale at KB Toys until Father's Day, I think. $9.99. I had to return mine since the joystick just wasn't working properly. Got a new unit and $5 back! Edited June 16, 2005 by xeex

Flojomojo #137 Posted June 16, 2005 Argh! I found their web site and they have just about every x-in-1 game known to God on the site - EXCEPT THE COMMODORE ONE!!!!!!! 875153[/snapback] You came in a bit late -- this sale has been going on almost since the thing's launch 6 months ago. They were all over Ebay, but now they're gone. Looks like you can get it from Amazon for $20: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...ogames&n=507846 Not a bargain, but definitely a fair price for such a neat toy. pinball22 #138 Posted June 16, 2005 Oooh... I may have to go pick a couple up to hack. I've been hesitant to (potentially) destroy the only one we have.
Ecchi #139 Posted August 11, 2005 (edited) Hi I just picked this up the other day (better late than never) I'm curious but should the video look a bit fuzzy like it does on mine? It isn't as crisp as I thought it should be. Thanks for reading. Edited August 11, 2005 by Ecchi
