Tempest #6 Posted January 15, 2005 How about Midi Maze? Midi Maze, Commando, and Mean 18 are still being sold so those roms are not available. Tempest
Chrodegang #7 Posted January 15, 2005 Midi Maze, Commando, and Mean 18 are still being sold so those roms are not available. Do the sellers own the copyrights to these games?
DracIsBack #8 Posted January 16, 2005 thanks I wanna do see what version of commando is better, 8bit or 7800 I have both (and the NES as well). I've got to agree with Tempest that Commando on the 8Bit is one hell of a piece of programming ... you hardly ever saw games like this on the Atari 8-bit. Sculptured Software did a great job. I still give it to the 7800 version (also done by Sculptured Software). It has better graphics, more colors, better sound (POKEY + TIA = six channel sound) and is easier to play with a two button controller. The 8-bit one is pretty awesome for an Atari 8-bit game, but the 7800 does edge it out, IMO.
